Quality assurance

The certification of LEAX Detmold GmbH according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 as well as the exact definition of structures, workflows and measuring values is not all we do to ensure only excellent products leave our premises. Your satisfaction is our highest priority! Therefore, impeccable quality is our standard.

Our gears meet the highest precision requirements and are suitable for use in sophisticated applications. The high standards of quality have been secured by continuous investments in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Only high-quality materials and standard parts will be allowed into our production cycle – after having been carefully checked for quality, microstructure and strength. All manufacturing stages are followed by strict quality control measures.

We are very particular with the quality of your gears. Therefore we have established a test laboratory, in which we employ the following machines and test technologies:

  • Gleason gear measurement
  • 3D measuring, e. g. Mitutoyo, Tesa
  • Shape and contour analysis
  • Grinding burn inspection by means of “Barkhausen noise“
  • Statistical process control
